Day 1 Arrival Leh (Flight) (Altitude 3500m)

Welcome the Land of Monasteries, rich Buddhist culture and lots of adventure experiences. Upon arrival at Leh airport you will be welcomed by traditional Khatak (A scarp) and transfer to the hotel.

    • Rest of the day at leisure in the Hotel for acclimatization to get used to the rarefied air of Ladakh.

Evening you can take a small walk in the market of the Leh town. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2Leh – Special prepare ceremony + Monasteries Visits

Early morning visit the Thiksey Monastery. A prayer meeting is arranged where the monks gathered and did their morning prayer, which consisted of chanting and playing drums. It is a truly magical to witness this daily ritual of the monks.

Later have an interaction with the monks on Buddhism. After the prayer ceremony and the interaction with the monks, return to the hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast start day trip to Monestries visit in Leh and surrounding, and places visits are Shey monasteries & Stok Palace...

Thiksey - this large Gompa is an impressive sight, situated on top of a craggy hill while the rest of the complex sprawls down beneath it. It was founded in the 15th century by Gelukpa monks.

Later in the afternoon, have visit of the following monasteries:

Leh Palace. Leh Palace is a former royal palace overlooking the Ladakhi Himalayan town of Leh. Modelled on the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, the palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century.

Sankar Gompa - Sankar Monastery or Sankar Gompa is a Buddhist monastery within an easy half-hour walk from Leh. It is a daughter-establishment of Spituk Monastery and the residence of the Abbot of Spituk, the Venerable Kushok Bakula, who is the senior incarnate lama of Lad vakh due to his ancient lineage and personal authority.

Shanti Stupa - Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white-domed stupa (chorten) on a hilltop in Chanspa, Leh. It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. The Shanti Stupa holds the relics of the Buddha at its base, enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama himself. The stupa has become a tourist attraction not only due to its religious significance but also due to its location which provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 3 Leh - Monasteries Visits by Mountain bikes (Cycling Tour)

Early Morning yoga Session and breakfast.

Schedule: Wakeup call 6 AM, Yoga:6:30 am to 8 AM, Breakfast

After breakfast start Monasteries Visits by cycling day trip towards Hemis and the distance which will be cover during the trip is 40kms one way. Cycling in Ladakh is the best way to travel from Leh towards Hemis. Following attractions make the journey even more beautiful.

• Sindhu ghat
• Shey palace
• Druk Padma Karpo School, which is popular among the Domestic tourist because of one of famous Bollywood movie’s called 3 idiots shooting took place.
• Hemis monastery

Shey - was the old capital and the home of the kings of Ladakh before the new capital became established in Leh the palace sits in a strategic position on a spur jutting out into the Indus valley. The main temple contains a large Buddha statue sculpted by Nepalese craft men.

Hemis Monastery - it is the wealthiest, best-known and biggest Gompa of Ladakh. Its popularity stems from the major annual festival held here in summer. The festival is in honor of Guru Padma Sambhav's birth anniversary. It also has the largest Thangkha in Ladakh, which is unfurled, once in 12 years. Hemis was built in 1630 during the reign of Sengge Namgyal, an illustrious ruler of Ladakh. It flourished under the Namgyal dynasty for the royalty favored the Drugpa sect, which managed the monastery.

After having visits drive back to Leh, Evening Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

Day 4Leh- Day hike to Stok Gorge (walk 03-04hrs Approx.)

Early Morning yoga Session and breakfast.

Schedule: Wakeup call 6 AM, Yoga:6:30 am to 8 AM, Breakfast

After breakfast, drive towards Stok Village visit the Stok Palace, museum & Gompa situated in the Indus Valley. Stok is the current residence of the former royal family of Ladakh and the museum contains the shrines, crown, ceremonial dress and jewelry of the Ladakhi king.

Stok Palace- the museum at the Stok Palace has an intriguing collection of Buddhist art, weapons, jewelry and artifacts, including thangkas painted with colors derived from crushed precious stones. Also on display are the ceremonial headdresses or 'peraks' of the erstwhile rulers of Ladakh.

Later have a day hike to Stok Gorge which will take around 03-04 hrs. walk from the village, walk through ascend towards top of the hill where you can have a spectacular view of Leh Twon as well as the Peak Stok Kangri. After reach a particular point return back to Stok Village where you will be arrange the local traditional lunch with local Family enjoy and visit their house and Kitchen, Enjoy your traditional lunch at local Ladakhi house after have lunch driver to Leh hotel for night satay.

Day 5Leh – Phyang Gompa – Likir - Alchi by Motor Bike
Distance 170km /Duration 4-5hrs

Early Morning yoga Session and breakfast.

Schedule: Wakeup call 6 AM, Yoga:6:30 am to 8 AM, Breakfast

After the breakfast, your motorbike journey will start towards Alchi and visit Phyang Gompa on the way that is located 6kms away from Leh. Further, we shall drive to Likir and visit Likir Gompa and Basgo. After paying visit, we will then cross the River Indus and reach Alchi. visiting Alchi monastery and enjoy the Lunch at Local Ladakhi cuisine restaurant called Ladakhi Kitchen.

Alchi Monastery or Alchi Gompa is a Buddhist monastery, known more as a monastic complex (chos-'khor) of temples in Alchi village in the Leh District, of the Indian state under the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council of Jammu and Kashmir. The complex comprises four separate settlements in the Alchi village in the lower Ladakh region with monuments dated to different periods. Of these four hamlets, Alchi monastery is said to be the oldest and most famous. It is administered by the Likir Monastery. Alchi is also part of the three villages (all in lower Ladakh region) which constitute the ‘Alchi group of monuments’; the other two villages adjoining Alchi are the Mangyu and Sumda Chun.

Day 6Leh – Nubra Valley (Over Khardung La-5602m), The world’s highest motorable Road
Altitude 3048m / distance: 130 kms; Motor Bike Riding 05-06hrs approx.

After the breakfast, Nubra valley for next 2 days

After breakfast start your motorbike journey towards to Nubra valley. Over Khardung La (5602m), the world’s highest motorable Road. If the thought of Bike ride through one of the highest motorable roads in the world – Khardung La doesn’t excite you, then nothing else will.

The pass acts as a link between Leh city and Indus and Nubra Valley. The 40 km ride will surely be the best ride you will ever have. Some of the major attractions en route are as follows:

• Views of the Zanskar Range
• Scenic Karakoram Range

Nubra used to be an important trade centre on the famous silk route leading from Leh to Kashgar through the two passes of Saser and Karakoram. Hundar, Hundar in Ladakh comprises people, mainly of whom are Budhists. Being so, the land is marked by prominent in trhe form of ‘Stupas’. On the mountain’s tops, the slopes on the valley floor, the faithful Buddhist’s would have one or the other forem of religious symbols. Some of which can be spotted from a distance, due to its sheer height.

Evening explore Sand Dune which is located in between Disket & Hunder. You can take the option of taking a ride on one of the camels descended from the camels which once plied the old Silk Road. Highly recommended!!

Day 7Explore The Nubra Valley (Panamik- Ensa Gompa, Sumoor)

After Breakfast, have a full day sightseeing of another side of Nubra valley places visits are Ensa Gompa which is at the bank of Panamik valley. En-route visit Disket Monastery.

Diskit, Diskit Gompa of leh Ladakh dates back to the 14th century and owes its inception to changzem Tserab Zaangpo, a disciple of Tsong-kha-pa. At the heart of Diskit Monastery is an elevated cupola, which stands adorned with a beautiful fresco that illustrates the Tashilhunpo Gompa of Tibet.

Perched on a hill in the village of Diskit and considered to be the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley, it belongs to the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism.

It is a sub-Gompa of the Thiksey monastery and has a statue of the Cho Rinpoche "the crowned Buddha" in the prayer hall, a huge drum and several images of fierce guardian deities. An elevated cupola of the monastery depicts a fresco of the Tashilhunpo monastery of Tibet.

Start the day with a special prayer high up near the towering Maitreya Buddha.

After having visit continue visit to Panamik another side of Nubra valley the then Hunder

A visit to Panamik Village will truly amaze you. Famously known for its therapeutic hot springs, this place sees many faces every year. Panamik Village sits on the bank of Nubra River making the place look even more attractive. With the shadows formed by fluffy clouds above, you can see it pass you as you walk around the charming village., it is the base for the trek to Ensa Gompa which is around 250 years old.

Visit Ensa Gompa: Ensa Gompa is a 250-year-old monastery, located near Panamik Village, The Gompa is perched on top of a rock that overlooks the snowcapped mountains of the Nubra Valley. It is a short walk to reach the Gompa from the point where car will drop. The Gompa has Buddhist murals, which are the main attractions of the monastery.

After the visit of all the Monasteries you will have an interaction and meeting session with One of the worrier of Siachin war ( which was occurred between India & Pakistan ) and visit his Museum.

After the visit return to the hotel and have an experience of Archery with Local people.

Day 8Nubra - Leh (Over Wari - La (5,300m)

Early Morning yoga Session and breakfast.

Schedule: Wakeup call 6 AM, Yoga:6:30 am to 8 AM, Breakfast

After breakfast get ready for your journey back to Leh & proceed motorbiking over Wari la, The Valley through picturesque landscape traversing through Wari - La (5,300 mtrs / 17,384 ft) the fourth highest motor able pass in Ladakh. En route, enjoy seeing the shepherds graze their pashmina goats, stop for photograph of the scattered villages. Not to be missed is spotting the famous yaks grazing in the meadows along the streams. on arrival check into hotel for overnight stay.

    Rest of the day free for individual activities without car & driver.

Evening an option to explore the market or relax at hotel. Evening Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

NOTE: If Wari-La is closed due to any local conditions, then the drive will be back through Khardung-La. (Please note that the best time for Warila is from Mid-June to Mid-September)

Day 9Leh Departure (Flight)

Today you bid farewell to the enchanting and breath-taking mountainous and rugged terrain of Ladakh as you proceed on your onward journey.
