Day 1 Arrival Amritsar – Punjabiyat
Distance 70 Kms – 1 & ½ hrs

Assistance upon arrival at Amritsar airport followed by drive to Punjabiyat. You will be welcomed with a traditional drink on arrival. Relax and explore the Farm area nearby Punjabiyat.

Enjoy typical Punjabi lunch on a charpai at Punjabiyat near the farms and rest in the afternoon.

After lunch take a short tour of Gurdaspur Village on a Bullock-cart experiencing the real life of a traditional Punjab village. Food is a serious matter in Punjabi culture and hence our food is emblematic of how Punjab welcomes you with its bounty.

After visit, back to the Punjabiyat. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2Amritsar (Punjabiyat)

Early morning visit dairy farm: Visit a dairy farm, learn about rural dairy farming, and even participate in milking the Buffalo / cows.

After a leisurely breakfast, Participate in farming activities (depending on the season/month of travel and subject to farm activities) - help the farmers in their fields, understand the local crops and how they are cultivated and visit a local mandi (vegetable and grain market).

Take a dip in tube well tank: The water table around the lodge is very high due to presence of multiple canals. The guests can jump into open tube well tanks and enjoy full force of water gushing out of the pipe. This water is then used for irrigating the fields.

Explore countryside on cycles: Explore the countryside on bicycles. Enjoy some interaction with the local villagers over some chai. End the cycling around with a nice picnic lunch

After picnic lunch, return to Punjabiyat.

Later in the evening, Tractor ride, Guests can try their hand at driving a tractor. Visit local villages during the ride.

Return to Punjabiyat. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 3 Amritsar (Punjabiyat)

After a leisurely breakfast, Visit local Sikh Temple: There is a famous Sikh temple (Gurudwara) called Ghallughara, 20 minutes’ walk from the lodge. An early morning walk to the Gurudwara to listen to mesmerising Gurubani recitals (Sikh religious songs) is an amazing experience. During weekends, a mobile market is set up outside the Gurudwara where local souvenirs can be bought.

Sikh history museum: Final touches are being given to a Sikh history museum close to the lodge. Guests will get an opportunity to know about the glorious history of the Sikhs and the Punjab province. The museum is one of the three being built by the government to encourage youngsters to take pride in their culture and history.

Return to Punjabiyat. Have lunch at the Punjabiyat. This afternoon is free.

Learn Punjabi Cuisine: Try your hands at preparing some nice Punjabi food with the help of our chef.

Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 4Amritsar (Punjabiyat) – Final departure

Wake to the crisp morning lights and fresh breath of air. After a leisurely breakfast, you will be provided time assisted departure transfer to the Amritsar airport to connect the flight for onward journey.
