Overview
Triund is a serene and alluring trekking destination. Nestled in the lap of Dhauladhar Range, 18 km from Dharamshala, it offers jaw-dropping views of the lofty Dhauladhar ranges on one side and the gorgeous Kangra valley on the other. And the Triund trek is indeed easy for first timers, popular among adventure enthusiasts of all ages.
The Triund trek route is exhilarating and super thrilling. The amazing panoramic views from the top at different times of the day – dusk, moonrise, and dawn – highlight the unique charming beauty of Triund.
The Triund trek in Mcleodganj comprises of undulating and steep but well-defined trails through the lush forests of green rhododendron and oak trees.

Day 1 Arrival Dharamshala
Assistance upon arrival at Dharamshala airport / Dharamshala bus stand followed by transfer to Hotel in Upper Dharamsala. Upon arrival, check in Hotel. (Check in time is 1300 Hours. Early check in would be subject to availability at the time of arrival).
Later half day city tour of Dharamshala visiting Dalai Lama Temple. Later explore Tibetan Market in Mcleod Ganj on your own.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Dharamshala / Bhagsu Nag- Acclimatization walk + Visit to Norbulingka
After breakfast at hotel go for an acclimatization hike up in the forest. It is two hours easy hike from Bhagsu nag to Naddi Village. It is levelled walk through thick forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees to Naddi village. Enroute we come across a Buddhist stupa and some meditation huts in the middle of the forest. Old Tibetan monks live here and practice meditation. You do not see the monks but can hear their chants from inside the huts. Walk ends at naddi village from where you have superb view of the peaks of Dhauladhar mountain.
From Naddi drive to Lower Dharamsala to Visit Norbulingka (A Tibetan Cultural Centre for learning and preserving traditional Tibetan art and craft)
At Norbulingka you visit various workshops where you can see the artists making different kind of traditional aritifats. Tibetan Lunch at Norling Cafe at Norbulingka. Later drive back to Bhagsu Nag for overnight stay in hotel.
Day 3 Bhagsu Nag - Triund (Trek Start)
Distance 9 km, 5 hours trek approx
It is steep ascent through mixed forest of oak,rhododendron and deodar trees to Triund. Triund is an alpine meadow situated atop a ridge from where we have superb view of the snow-covered peaks of Dhauladhar mountain on one side and Kangra valley on the other. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 4 Triund - Lake Glacier - Triund
04 hours trek approx
After breakfast at Triund you will cross a small ridge to reach Khabrotu from where we have closer view of the peaks of dhauladhar and Laka Glacier. Walk further down to Laka Glacier. Spend time at Laka Glacier. Later walk back to Triund for overnight stay in tents.
Day 5 Triund / Bhagsu (Trek End) / Dharamshala
Distance 9 km, (4-5) hours trek approx.
After an early breakfast at Triund you start walking downhill. There is a possibility of taking a different route on the way back which is steep downhill trail or you take the same route on the way back. A light packed refreshment will be provided to you. Trek ends at Bhagsu Nag and then drive to Dharamshala. Later check in Hotel. Later free time to explore Mcleod Ganj on your own.
Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 6 Dharamshala Departure
After breakfast at hotel, you will be assisted transfer to Airport in Dharamshala / Dharamshala Bus stand for your onward journey...!!

C. Balance 50% payment should be remitted 15 days prior to starting of the trip.
Note: We have relaxed our booking terms and will be as flexible as possible in all situations relating to COVID-19, so you can book with confidence.
Cancellation: - Cancellation charges are applicable according to the following slabs.
A. If the tour is cancelled between 30 days and 16 days before date of travel, 50% of the Total tour cost (for land arrangement services only)
B. If the tour is cancelled within 15 days before the date of arrival, no refund at all.
